HOME HAZARD is a search for reasons for the Fukushima disaster, which leads deeply into the subconscious patterns of behavior of Japanese society, finding images for a sense of helplessness, for the invisible threat of radioactive radiation. Compared to the technology that is particularly advanced in Japan, the body appears dull, without confidence in itself and without perception of the threat from the environment. This stupidity of the body creates internal contradictions – articulated in the piece by a language of movement that functions by isolating and forgetting parts of the body. By focusing on fine nuances in expression, reactions to internal and external impulses become clear.
